In the RCM’s opening concert of the season, discover the music of Montague Ring, the musical alias of composer Amanda Aldridge who studied voice at the Royal College of Music in the 1880s.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience Aldridge's captivating compositions, reimagined for wind orchestra. Her works feature alongside another RCM alumnus, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, whose Othello was written as incidental music for a 1912 production of the Shakespeare play; Stravinsky’s striking and influential Symphonies; and Jessie Montgomery’s Coincident Dances, which draw inspiration from the vibrant sounds and energy of New York's diverse cultural landscape.
